Jew think it was good timing?
Just in time for Yom Kippur, the solemn holy day, there was a long, long article in The Jew Yorker about grim Leonard Cohen.
It told us that he's got a new, EVEN DARKER new album coming out in a few weeks, and that he's READY TO DIE. It seems he has back problems, he's a bit frail, and an ex-lover the same age (82) died recently. So he's not sure how much time he has left.
The author even got to interview Bob Dylan, who was more than happy to discuss the genius of Leonard Cohen. Bob and Leonard go back a long way.
But is anyone still pondering Leonard Cohen? The article is old news.
The big news is that Bob Dylan was awarded THE NOBEL PRIZE today.
So long, Leonard...maybe you'll get some ink when your album drops (and half the copies you could've sold are given away by torrents and Zinfarts).
Meanwhile, it's BOB. Age 75. The first songwriter to get THE NOBEL PRIZE in literature. And Christ, it's from a prestigious group in SWEDEN, the country that gave us Pirate Bay.
Oh, Rod Stewart, this blows away your Knighthood, too.
