Some stupid website with the nauseating name "Salted Hash," apparently slurping up any news about hashtags and bots and Assange and Torrent freaks, says some nefarious group got hacked by some other nefarious group.
Er, uh, is it Anonymous being "heroes" and bullying bullies, or is it bullshit involving bullish bulls being bozos?
The truth is that this monster we call "The Internet" is full of holes, full of shit, not to be trusted, and is bringing the world to the brink of destruction.
When we rely so heavily on "The Internet" to the point where we literally MUST have a cell phone, MUST have e-mail, MUST do electronic banking, MUST buy most of our goods on line and pay for them with totally insecure accounts...we are asking for HELL.
People get their Farcebook and Twatter accounts hacked. They get their nude photos distributed all over the place. Not only isn't it even ILLEGAL anymore to steal somebody's home porn and sell it, nobody gives a shit about copyright violations on GooTube and Ebay and Blogs and Torrents. Everything's shrugged off as a "spoof" and "pfishing" and hacking is almost never even prosecuted.
There are too many weasels making a fortune off everyone's misery, and that includes these Italian meatballs selling faulty technology, and jerks like Kim Dotcom and Assange and the CEO's of Amazon and Ebay.
What SHOULD be going on, is strict prosecution. It's ludicrous that a slob like Kim Dotcom isn't in jail. We're talking about a guy getting away with shit while living in Democratic countries like Germany and New Zealand, and exploiting UK and USA artists. This is not some Putin hiding in Croatia or some stinking Swede operating on a pirate boat in international waters.
How easy do they make it? Why aren't their strong Internet laws? (Oh, right, GOOGLE doesn't like that). How long will insurance companies and banks pay for the billions of dollars lost through credit card fraud? Why kill the economy like this when Internet crime should be treated as a serious offense? Everyone laughs at those messages on CDs and DVDs: "Copying this disc may result in a year in jail and a $5,000 fine..." How about doing it?
How long did it take for Spamford the "Savetrees" asshole to finally do some jail time? The message is: "Do what you want. We'll admire you, like we admired the four assholes of the apocalypse called Pirate Bay."
So it goes, with the world cringing and accepting hackers and an insecure Internet, just as they accept all the latest news about ISIS and Procol Harum murdering people and getting away with it because, oooh, they wear robes and masks. This is Planet Stupid, and every day is Halloween.
