He got drunk in the subway, and pissed on the tracks.

A very religious person might conclude that even God doesn't suffer fools gladly. At least, not always and forever.
An even more religious person might say that God did this to smarten up some of the other chumps out there.
And a fervently religious person might simply question why this didn't happen to Amanda Bynes instead.
