"Marion County" is a Redneck Swamp, Not a Person

No, I can't say "Marion County" is a cunt.

It's an area in Florida that's just full of cunts. The stink is worse than dead fish.

"Florida is a cancer," Lenny Bruce said circa 1958, and it remains so. Who'd live down there? It's HELL. Five months of the year, it's absolutely HELL. Another few months are merely disgusting; the air so vile you can almost, to use a Spike Milligan phrase, "reach out and squeeze the sweat out of it." The air is humid and salty.

Florida, the USA's limp, hanging penis, was not much of a factor during the Civil War, so why a county there should be so concerned with the fucking "heritage" of the confederate flag is beyond all logic.

Florida's white men kicked the Indians around, not the blacks. The big deal was picking oranges, not cotton. The major events of the Civil War happened in Virginia, Georgia, North and South Carolina, not in the obscure swamps of Florida.

Unlike so many parts of the South, Florida prospered as a vacation land. A Disney land. Why, it was even the place where the Jews went to vacation and to retire. Al Goldstein, of SCREW magazine, not only had a home there but even ran for sheriff in Broward County. So it's just pathetic that any county in Florida would be so fucking concerned with the confederate flag, and have some grudge against the North. Northerners turned Florida into a prosperous state with huge income from tourism. Anita Bryant and her friends promoted All-American orange juice. The state didn't have the image of nigger-hating monsters that Mississippi and the others did.

PS, they had, and have lizards. About the only really amusing thing about Florida is you can go walk around the streets or a shopping mall, and actually see exotic bugs.

Florida, where homeless men on meth literally rip and eat the faces off other homeless people, should be a lot more concerned with hoisting the literacy rate, not a shitty flag of ignorance.

There are Germans who love the Swastika. They love the idea that their country ALMOST conquered the world. They only wish that every Jew was dead and Germany had another Hitler to kick ass again. That's the Southern way of thinking, too. The confederate flag connotes slavery and the great Robert E. Lee, who nearly turned the USA into an apartheid nation of cruelty and sadism.

How stupid ARE Southerners? The confederate flag was hoisted to declare the South to be separate from the North. That's not heritage, that's obnoxious secession. Before the Civil War, the North and South were just geographical terms. Yet, these Southerners who cling to the confederate flag, remain bigoted, that's all. Their "pride" in the South is just their hatred of the North. Flying the flag in public is like wearing KKK robes in public.
