Baltimorons - Man It's Hard To Blame Whitey

"Oh, oh, Baltimore. Man it's hard just to live." Randy Newman.

It wasn't too long ago that Baltimore was in the news because of, yeah, black rioting. Some black thug with a record of violence and arrests died in police custody. The police custody, it turned out, involved both black and white officers.

It also turned out that Baltimorons couldn't blame their white elected officials for "keepin' the niggers down" (another Randy Newman song phrase). The mayor? BLACK. The police chief? BLACK.

So now what? Oh.

In some predominantly black towns, the black elected officials work with the community. As in: "You got nobody to blame but yourselves. Now stop burning your fucking stores down, stop sulking, stop whoring and drugging, and take jobs and help us grow." If that doesn't work, they deny there's a problem. As in: "Our crime rate is same as other places." And then there's the blame game and every man for himself. As in, "I'll throw YOU under the bus to save myself. You're fired."

And it wasn't too long ago that this female Black police chief was praised for halting the riots in Baltimore and telling citizens to stop burning down their neighborhoods, scaring people away from Baltimore Orioles games, and to accept that all the cops who didn't pamper the black thug would have to tell it to the judge.

Politics is the same all over the world. So is poverty, ignorance, overpopulation, greed and corruption and a low minimum wage. The mayor of Baltimore MIGHT be able to stay in office with his, "Hey, I fired the police chief bitch" line. Maybe not.
