Obamacare, putting the Hell in Health

As Michael Moore found out, in his documentary "Sicko," health care is a horror. He tended to slant things to make it seem as if Great Britain and France have efficient, quick, expert health care for everyone, but most say that it's very hard to find ANY country that makes a visit to a doctor fast and affordable. A visit to a hospital? Cue the Alice Cooper music: "Welcome to my Nightmare."

Obamacare was supposed to offer deep discounts on health insurance. Make next to nothing, and instead of $400 a month to health insurance, you might only be required to pay $300. What a bargain. Your choice of doctors is limited and there's a "deductible." You don't get relief until you've paid, oh, $5,000 or so in doctor bills. Ha ha ho ho hee hee.

If you're really doing badly, and Spotify isn't giving you royalties, and everybody's "sharing" your work for free, you might might qualify for Medicaid. In that case you will not have to pay anything in health insurance. BUT...you will have almost NO choice of doctors. You'll have a hard time finding an emergency clinic or a doctor that will see you sooner than a month.

Since the government won't reimburse doctors a reasonable amount for their time, few accept Medicaid. The ones that do are usually incompetent, assembly-line lunatics who only glance at patients.

What happens when some ISIS maniacs blow up a bunch of people, or some maniac with an assault weapon decides to take out his high school class? Obama will say, "We can do better" and "This carnage must stop." And when the survivors discover they are now in debt because the hospital didn't accept their insurance? Obama will send a press release: "If I spend all my time commenting on everything, I'll get nothing done. Thank you, and God Bless America."
