Tech Dirt in your Diaper, Baby? WAH WAH WAH

"They want to RUIN OUR FUN! I say copyright is copy wrong! I'm entitled! It took me five whole minutes to up that PDF file of the book it took that author a year to write!"

Wah wah wah.

It's 2016, we all know piracy has destroyed record stores, fucked the economy, and even driven creative people to suicide. Yet the anonyous assholes who steal content and up it to blogs and forums are still being defended.

Jerks who are lawless and observe no rules have the fucking nerve to complain about takedown procedure, and ethics. They shout "Prove to me that you are authorized to take down the file I'm not authorized to put up!" Which is like a burglar saying, "Your honor, the second story window was NOT locked, therefore I had a right to go in and steal. I demand compensation for false arrest!"

Entitlement trumps logic. Greed rules.

Some bunch of assholes at "Tech Dirt" (an appropriate name) actually had the nerve to whine about "illegal takedowns," of illegal files. They call the situation "SHIT," man.

They defend anonymous thieves and their "hard work." They cry for employees making six figure salaries at Google, Wordpress and Blogspot who have to read DMCA's when they could be having snacks or playing video games in the employee rec room.

And on and on. The entitlement goes ON AND ON.

You think Tech Dirt would be filing takedowns if ZeroPaid or some Wordpress blogger reprinted all their articles and siphoned off a percentage of their banner ad money or got Paypal tips? Or would they say, "Gee, we LOVE to share. Anyone can copy our stuff because we know it's HARD WORK upping files, and all we did is spend all day creating the material."

Christ.

The argument is that Wordpress or Google has to read a few DMCA's that aren't actually from the copyright owners, but maybe angry fans? Aww. So hire a few extra people to handle it. Or stop allowing anonymous idiots to have free blogs and make sure the folks at Freakyshare and Fartysteal have signed documents from everybody who ups files to them proving the items are legal to share.

Why all the concern for bratty thieves? Why the worry over how Wordpress employees spend their time, when they are stupid enough to let anyone, without even a credit card, use their bandwidth?

Why not have some concern for rights owners who spend tons of time going through hoops and filing their legit take downs, only to see the grinning bloggers re-up the next day? Rights owners who could be creating, working and performing and instead have to spend all their energy trying to keep people from stealing away their profits.

Unbelievable, these bratty idiots who defend anonymous thievery and complain about what's "fair."

Tell you what, guyyyyysss, when your sister is raped, don't be upset if the perp gets away with it because "correct procedure" wasn't followed, or he wasn't read his "rights."

When your mother is killed during a burglary of her home, have sympathy for the poor criminal who figured he needed her money more than she did, and had every right to kill her when she resisted. And make sure the murderer gets a fair trial, and only certain evidence is allowed. And don't get upset if the murderer files appeals and overturns the death sentence, and it seems like the law is more concerned with the perp than the victim.

What's the complaint here? That lawless assholes aren't treated with respect and proper procedure at all times? That people who follow no rules should be protected by rules?

Here's the good news, all you self-entitled babies in your tech-dirty diapers. Millennials with no manners or morals are pushing out the old fogeys, just as ISIS immigrants are ignoring the silly rules and customs of the countries they are invading.

And won't that be fun? Who needs law? Let Assange steal your country's secrets. Let hackers take your identity. Let 4Chan publish your girlfriend's nude pictures and your milf mommy's hardcore blowjob pix of her with that guy who isn't your father. It's ALL good.
