Yes, the Daily News pointed to the hypocrite right-wing assholes who offered "prayers" and called them out on it. NONE of the Republican politicians support tougher gun laws...not even logical ones involving assault weapons of mass destruction or...get this...laws prohibiting known terrorist-sympathizers from getting weapons!

No other newspaper in the world has fought harder to demand gun control.

However the United States is ruled by Republicans. Even with a Democrat in the White House, the Republicans control the rest of the government and block any attempt at sanity regarding gun laws.

Republicans represent the insane paranoid redneck "red states" that love their guns, and somehow think that their idiotic shacks in Kentucky and Georgia and Iowa will be stormed by niggers and Muslims (or just plain black Muslims) and having AK-47's will protect them.

The other day, the Republicans actually SHOT DOWN a bill that would prohibit guns being sold to Muslims on the "no fly" list.

Yes, the dangerous loonies who can't buy an airplane ticket...can buy ALL the guns they want, no questions asked. And the Republicans are fine with it.
