7 Million Assholes Can Be Wrong

Never underestimate the stupidity of people.

That plump, effeminate, giddy, obnoxiously witless James Corden sure knows how to milk a bad gag.

Over SEVEN MILLION GooTube hits. IN ONE DAY.

I don't even want to do the math on it, but it means he probably put anywhere from $7,000 to $70,000 extra in his pocket on this.

Meanwhile the amateur greedheads who think they're gonna "go viral" have turned GooTube into a real desperate lunatic asylum. People are deliberately tormenting their children and pets, playing "jokes" on their friends, or simply covering every Taylor Swift song, hoping to get that BIG payday and their 15 minutes of fame.

Meanwhile the parasites and weasels on both sides of the copyright issue are sniffing and pawing and clawing. Companies now "specialize" in ordering takedowns (for a fee) and taking away monetization of any upload that includes copyrighted music. If you use a bit of music as background for a little tour of Blackpool or something, your monetization disappears; now being split between the copyright owner and the owner's bulldog.

Gootube does seem to allow the Shaunas over the world to monetize a performance that uses a copyrighted song. After all, they don't want to be TOO mean. But generally, no.

The funny thing is that all the idiots who upload entire albums, or even single songs, often have no idea that their monetization has been switched, and they're no longer getting money for their 'hard work.' GooTube only notifies when a video has been pulled completely, not, uh, monetarily re-directed!

Meanwhile Corden is giggling all the way to the bank. He has a huge staff, he makes a huge salary, and he gets paid extra for all this GooTube shit. In fact, there's enough money in this that all the late night hosts compete in hoisting tasty three and five minute clips.

GooTube can't be stopped. Nobody wants to beat 'em, they all want to join 'em. Even if they get chump change compared to what GooTube makes.
