Missing Overnight: and Tweets in the Darkness - AND REVISION

I suppose it's a minor show of sanity that vicious and "funny" Tweets about the disappearance of Sinead O'Connor have been drowned out by a majority standing up for her and calling attention to her illness.

It's a pretty good sign when you consider that at the London Daily FAIL, it's often 50-50 the troll comments vs the sane ones. Here, you'd have to really hunt around to find the insensitive comments.

BUT...as we wait to discover if she's laying low somewhere or not...

It's NOT a good sign that someone who IS a foreigner to America can disappear overnight. How well does this woman know Chicago? She took off on a bike yesterday, and frankly there are several bad scenarios to this. She could've been mugged or she could've driven herself to a suitable lake or tall building or just into the woods to take some pills. No, not a pleasant situation.

The woman's been a pain in the ass for years and years, and there was her alarming suicidal Tweeting last year that had all her fans alarmed and upset. But everyone knows what's behind it; a disease for which there is often inadequate medication.

It's good to see so many people on Twitter actually pointing out the facts about depression. It's positive to read posts that are sympathetic. It's unfortunately rare when a majority of people act like adults and not guffawing 14 year-old Blisters. To have seen a majority of people offering up trollish jokes would've been disgusting.

AN HOUR LATER 4pm :

OK. Nevermind. Nobody's said where the fuck she was or what she was doing.

Cop: "All right, nothing more to see here. You can all go back to hating her again..."
