Ebay Ghouls Come Out for BETSY PALMER

A few days ago Betsy Palmer died at the age of 88.

If that name is only vaguely familiar, it's because, to MY knowledge, she was little more than a pleasant blonde actress/personality. She was the type who'd be a panelist on game shows in the 50s and 60s, maybe sing a song on a variety show, and take roles that could've gone just as easily to Shirley Jones or Connie Stevens.

So, I checked that barometer of public mourning, eBay. Would any of the eBay ghouls be offering those "R.I.P." self-made souvenir buttons? Would autograph dealers thumb through their collections of 3x5 cards and obscure signed 8x10's and hope to palm off a few on any Palmer fans?

AH. LOTS of THIS SHIT:

She made ONE stupid horror movie which means pimply, obese, and just plain ugly and disgusting LOSERS kept writing to her to sign photos. ONLY photos from "Friday the 13th."

How charming. Since she apparently had plenty of money AND an actual LIFE, I don't think she did those embarrassing memorabilia show gigs. But, feeling flattered or having pity, she signed by mail whatever "Friday the 13th" shit was sent her way.

NOW, even if it's personalized to someone else...it's up on eBAY. To Steve, To Joe, To Bill Hoobastank...

She's dead and the photos are corpse shots. How ironic. That these stills probably are not even of Betsy, but a mannequin or a double, makes no difference to losers Palming them off.
