Camera Makers new Paradigm: Hara Kiri

You makee CAMERAS? Here your new paradigm: get sword. Fall on it.

Polaroid is dead. Kodak is dead. You not feel so good? That is technology!

You know the fate of THIS stupid idea from SONY, a company hit hard, thanks to people not buying TV sets and stereos anymore. Yes, SONY is in big trouble because a COMPUTER (something they don't make) can let people watch movies, TV, hear every radio station on Earth...and all of it FREE by design or bootleg.

NOBODY is going to buy this thing. A lens to fit onto your sleek cell phone? To do what, take BETTER pictures? Most like what they take just fine. Just as they enjoy mp3 files with no bass or treble.

The article says camera sales are down. Always look at the bright side of life: sale of camera film is almost NIL.

At least a few people are buying expensive digital cameras. Not many.

You know technology has dealt the camera world a severe blow when the JAPANESE are complaining that not enough cameras are being sold!

SONY has been told to "find a new paradigm," but they don't make computers, do they? Apple does. Toshiba does. Dell does. And Google is busy buying up or forcing deals with most every company involved in computers, tablets and cellphones.

Meanwhile KODAK just emerged from bankruptcy...in other words, stiffing their creditors by probably paying a dime on the dollar...

And guess what, they are OUT of the camera biz. They're new business isn't selling cameras or film but consulting, or imaging, or something:

The Internet, computer technology, apps and bits...it's destroying vast sections of the economy and reducing people into mindless rodents who tech-talk and live small...as small as their tablets and cell phones, and as insignificant as an mp3 file or a jpeg.

But think of it this way, this is how GOD sees mankind. Billions and billions of barely visible mp3 files and jpegs. That's why He doesn't give a damn much if a few hundred, a few thousand blow themselves up or get destroyed by some virus or cancer.

If that's a depressing thought, then think of it this way: there IS no God.
