ALI OOPS

What if they gave a dinner for Muhammad Ali and Parkinson's research...and nobody came?

That's just what happened the other night.

The fundraiser's star attraction was Carry Underpants, the boring blond cuntry slinger. As you can see, she was delighted to have NO photo-op competition (not even from Bill Hoobastank). Muhammad was less than thrilled.

Ali wants no pity. He insists he has no regrets about boxing too long. But the man is mummified. How terrible that someone who was noted for his fast hands and feet and his quick wit, is barely able to move.

You'd think that if he manages to get himself dressed, get on a plane, trudge to some fucking event...the boxers who respected him would show up. Where was Tyson? Foreman? Holyfield? De La Hoya? Where were the A-list or even B-list celebrities who used to appear with him on talk shows, guys like Billy Crystal?

How dismal that only a few D-listers turned up to get their picture taken. Jesus Fucking Christ, an aging bitch whose claim to fame is she was once married to Bruce Jenner? (She must be thrilled at how often writers insist she was married to CAITLYN JENNER). Who the fuck is this quizzical-looking Foster moron?

How in the world does any celebrity turn down the chance to be in the presence of one of the greatest men of the 20th Century, and wish him well? FFS, It's tax deductible. What we're seeing in the 21st Century is a lot of once obscure auto-immune illnesses afflicting more and more people. We're seeing a lot of new miserable diseases, and a return of ones that seemed to be history, like leukemia.

And yet even the usual suspects who mince and prance in front of Daily Mail cameras — Hadid, Kardashian, Jenner, Klum, Schumer, Wilson, Dickinson, Paltrow, Adele — they didn't realize if they showed up they'd be sure to get their fucking faces on the front page? Parkinson's and the other diseases are not pretty. Neither are they. And if they think they're all gonna escape the chance of a decaying, dismaying disease robbing them of all that makes life worth living...they are dead wrong.
