COSBY and the UNDERGROUND RAILROADing

There's a kind of mush all over the world.

From sea to shining sea, we're getting a rehash of, well, hash. In the UK, there's old MACCA, with his tedious tales of Linda and Lennon.

It's indeed made worse by re-telling with added spin and spit. He's got an album to plug, a BBC special, or just wants to remind people he's alive. It's all mush.

Meanwhile in the US, and only a few years older than MACCA, is THE COS.

OH sure, try this in the court of public opinion. But to have a witch hunt go on in an actual court?? That's the deal today.

No question, Cosby used his "celebrity" status to bang a bimbo or two, and he wasn't a gentleman about it. Also no question, in a drug culture era, he did what many a rock star did: get the chick high first.

As with rock stars, not every chick should've been dosed or considered a mere groupie. But, and this IS being a bit cynical, that's the price for coming on to a star with nothing but being female to recommend you. Do you think if the charges on Cosby were made against Jagger the response would be different? People would say "Oh, Mick, he's a bad boy, and the chicks should've known better. Oh, that Mick!"

With the American statute of limitations run out on almost all of the complaints, THE COS is being railroaded in his own home town of Philadelphia, where the arbitrary number before a case like this is closed is TWELVE YEARS.

If you're not up on the Constand story, it's this: a woman claimed THE COS molested her with a finger or two. ELEVEN YEARS AGO.

What she was doing alone with a married man? I think what most of them were doing: trying to get money, fame, attention, a free ride off of being pretty. Yeah, what's in it for THE COS? He's supposed to give you money, put you on his TV show, help you get ahead...because you bat your brown eyes at him?

OK, the evening ended badly. She made a stink and got what she wanted. MONEY MONEY MONEY. That's what she wanted in this rich man's world. And that's what she got.

The agreement was that Cosby would have some sort of legal deposition, affirm the settlement, and the documents would be SEALED. End of story. She shuts her yap, and isn't allowed to say how much money she got. Done deal. Everyone's agreed to it.

Fast forward ELEVEN years, and women are outraged that THE COS had a pattern of being a star who uses women. Some of the allegations are actually pretty mild: "He fondled my breasts." "He jerked off on me." But how to get this guy in the big trouble he deserves? Beyond the fact that the allegations have destroyed his career and legacy? Beyond the fact that he can't book a comedy club because clubs don't want the controversy?

A fame-seeking weasel in Philadelphia, a new city prosecutor, decides he'll re-open the case JUST before the statute of limitations runs out.

Here's where the railroading begins. Sealed documents are leaked to the media. When the former prosecutor testifies that he made a deal with Cosby, a judge rules the case can continue anyway! The judge says, in essence, "Go ahead, lynch the old funnyman. Let's be known as the city that destroyed Cosby. Let's show we got a tough prosecutor who can't reduce crime except to go after an old man whose home is in Massachusetts." A case that was settled out of court because the evidence and damages were weak, comes back into court!

Every reasonable complaint and defense Cosby's lawyers used was shot down. Pointing out the judge and prosecutor were pals? Shot down. Pointing out the judge hated the former prosecutor? Shot down. The fact that there was an agreement and Cosby shouldn't be re-tried on what was already settled? Shot down. Appeal after appeal shot down.

At this very moment, Cosby's attorneys are battling in a preliminary pre-trial hearing. If they can't persuade a judge that this crap is double jeopardy, the next step is a trial and a possible jail sentence if convicted.

Yes, this thing could drag on for years. The trial could have postponements. IF Cosby is found guilty and sentenced to jail time he could appeal all the way to the Supreme Court. More time wasted by the government. He's got the money and who knows, he may not even live to be incarcerated.

Below, is some of the testimony. It's pretty damn astonishing. The "victim" pestered Cosby afterwards for concert tickets! Why do you do THAT if you're offended over some finger-fucking?

You've got a case that was settled over a decade ago, a woman who got a pay-out, a guy whose career is now over, and this farce goes on?

150 years ago, there was an underground railroad to get the Negroes out of the South and up North. Up NORTH to places like PHILADELPHIA. And now there's an underground intent on railroading Cosby in any devious way possible, even if it means ignoring the law and common sense. Common sense would be to not re-try Cosby on a case that was settled!

Ridiculous isn't it? Can you imagine anyone OTHER than Cosby being dragged into court on this? How many women, including underage ones, couldn't get through a courtroom door on: "He gave me some roofies and next thing I know, he's banging me." "He plied me with drinks and got me blotto and took advantage." "I told him no, and he fucked me anyway."

Here we have a bitch who may have gotten millions, whining, "He fingered my twat," and then admitting that she kept right on seeing the guy and asking for freebies.

The underhanded judges and prosecutors have kept this foolishness going, to make names for themselves. What kind of conspiracy is this? It's an underground railroading, and now it's for everyone to see. This morning the Internet was reporting the testimony, and wondering if Philadelphia would do the right thing and END this lunacy:

"Too much he said she said. Not enough evidence. Case was already settled. The woman kept seeing the man after the incident. Stop wasting our time."

She still has money in her bank account. And Cosby is still not going to be able to work again. Why keep it going?

UPDATE:

The Philly pricks DID keep it going, and Cosby will now stand trial. How nice for Philadelphia hotels, which usually are half-full because the town is loaded with REAL crime, REAL violence, and REAL bad guys that they do nothing about.
