He put out a publicity release explaining he was selling it, but...
GUNBROKER pussied out.
Why? Sites like GUNBROKER (and EBAY and TWATTER etc.) pride themselves on FREEDOM OF SPEECH, and being "JUST A VENUE" and saying they won't "ruin the fun" of anyone.
That's why Blogger lets pornographers run rampant and allows people to have dozens of blogs where they offer free downloads of copyrighted music. That's why eBay doesn't care if people Photoshop movie starlet heads onto spread-naked porn whores. That's why Twitter is beloved by Niggas shouting FUCK FUCK FUCK all day.
What exactly did Zimmerman do wrong? Nothing at all, legally. It's his gun. The case is over. It seems that the pussies at GUNBROKER are making a "moral" decision? This, on a website that allows any maniac buy a gun by mail? How many innocent people have been killed with weapons bought on GUNBROKER?
My guess is they like to maintain a low profile on their nefarious business, and they don't want a bunch of Trayyyyyvons marching into their offices beating the crap out of them.
Whatever the reason, it's just another example of how these Fascist websites conveniently say "we have no rules" unless they need rules. Then they go to their "Terms of Service" and play the bully card: "We can do what we want at any time."
Well George, maybe you'll need to take some sex change advice from Caitlyn Jenner. Then you can become Caitlyn Zimmerman and sell your used pantyhose and shoes on EBAY, with just the vague caveat, "they will be cleaned before mailed to you."
Or, you can go on GOFUNDME and say you'd like to read "Pride and a Lot of Prejudice," and you're fatter and even less talented than Amy Wagstaff-Wetone, so you deserve $1000 minimum from everyone.
Of course EBAY and GOFUNDME just might knock your stuff off, suddenly deciding they have morality and decency. But, maybe not. GoFundMe hardly even allows people to report violations. Ebay often lets the most illegal auctions stay up, conveniently insisting, "We can't get to all the complaints on our millions and millions of auctions" or "We did not see a violation."
Let's wait and see what you shoot for next, George. Or is that not "what" but "who?"
