Do you want to even think of how many great artists could use that money?

How many older singer-songwriters don't even have a label deal, and would be inspired to work on something if they could just get an advance that paid for some recording time? Just a shitty fucking $10,000? Kickstarter-type money?

Take away just ONE MILLION from that obnoxious phony hog-bitch, and give $10,000 to singers or rock groups to help defray their costs...you MIGHT have 100 fantastic albums that could make a difference to the lives of the artists and their fans.

Christ, I can think of many a low-budget album that I treasure.

But instead, SONY will make sure to spend ALL their time and effort to push, push and PUSH this load of lard in order to get their money back and make a huge fat profit.

How I hope this turns out worse than when Orbison signed with MGM. NO HITS. TOTAL APATHY. PEOPLE BORED WITH THE SAME OLD STUFF AND NOT BUYING IT.
