Awww, it's useless Cary Sherman again, whining and bitching that GOOGLE (and GOOTUBE) aren't playing fair.

Gosh, Cary, and where were YOU when GOOGLE'S BLOGGER/BLOGSPOT was letting the Dementeds of the world get a zillion blogs and throw every album to Rapidshare and Megaupload?

I'll tell you where you were. You were masturbating in your office. Right?

You sure as hell didn't have your hands on the keyboard, sending in DMCA's. Your website had a "report piracy" link that was an answering machine. You had a template that flushed requests for action into the sewer.

You could've had a dozen interns fighting back and shutting that shit down, and lobbying for new laws.

Nope. You had your head in the sand.

Now it's too late. You have to grovel and slobber and beg THE GREAT GOD GOOGLE to make even minor concessions. You have to try and bargain with them (the way artists would futilely bargain with their record labels) to get a little bit bigger slice of the pie.

How ironic, the RIAA which reps the greedy record labels and weren't hurting bad enough to fight piracy 10 years ago, NOW finds itself strapped for cash. This, after record stores shut down, and many predicted things would get worse. What, you were listening to Dave Fuckface Marsh? Mephisto? Zinfart? You conveniently shrugged and thought piracy would go away, or not be such a factor?

You had no vision then, and you're a fucking fool now, Cary Sherman. Hopefully the RIAA will start to cut YOUR salary, or just plain fire you for letting things get out of hand.

It ain't just the record biz, boy. It's movies. It's books. Authors are blinking in disbelief that their own fucking publishers are just like the RIAA...doing NOTHING. They say, "Gosh, it's awfully complicated to send DMCA's, and the items come right back again. We're being financially raped!"

Piracy could've been nipped in the bud way back when Rolling Stone was saying, "Hey, there's this Tofu Hut blog, and they're giving away songs..."

You ignored it then. You're paying for it now. You're one of Joni's "short sighted businessmen." And yeah, "nothing lasts for long." Not record labels, not royalties, and hopefully NOT YOUR JOB.

You couldn't pass SOPA. THE GREAT GOD GOOGLE is one of the biggest companies on the planet, as nasty, corrupt and evil as Russia or China. GOOGLE has the politicians in their pocket. The DMCA laws that should've been re-written TEN YEARS AGO will NEVER change. Go lick Adele's twat and suck Sam Smith's dick and pay that they keep selling millions of actual CDs, because people like FREE and people all chant: "GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND."
