"Monster" Drink Company Isn't GOOGLE: Loses Copyright Case

Aw...

If you're not familiar with "Monster Energy" drinks...neither am I.

And they could spend a fortune on ads and I wouldn't guzzle that garbage.

"Energy" drinks are sickening cocktails of sugar, caffeine and who knows what other unhealthy drugs...all designed to make already hyper teenagers into real monsters.

As for older people who could actually use a little energy...no, they know better than to mess with a can loaded with chemicals.

If you're not familiar with COPYRIGHT, well, Monster Energy wasn't, either.

They probably were looking at Google, and YouTube, and Kickass and Zinfuck, and all the places where self-entitled assholes use songs any way they want, and without asking permission.

Too bad "Monster Energy" doesn't have their factory in Croatia, and their corporate offices in North Korea. Too bad they didn't just put ads on Pirate Bay website banners and thumb their noses. Or figure that if they were sued, as Google often is, they'd have enough power to get off with a slap on the wrist or a fine that barely equals .000000000002% of what they make in an hour.

"Monster Energy" Slop got taken to court and they LOST. The judge explained that using somebody else's copyrighted creativity for your own greed...is actually NOT LEGAL. Think of that!

Don't cry for "Monster Energy," they'll make back that money within a few weeks, or die trying. Or rather, let some kids die or contract a fatal condition from drinking that junk.
