Amid the endless holiday huckstering, there was the anniversary of Lennon's death...a perfect time to sell shit.
This could be anything from "War is Over If You Want It" posters and stuff (via Yoko's Tweets) or furniture at 50% off, like so:
Various Tweets and Facebook posts urged people to go check out how NBC New York handled the day after Lennon's death.
You go to their website BUT...before you can see a replay of the rather lame and depressing coverage, there's a 15 second commercial.
You'd think that maybe NBC would have a little class and NOT stick a commercial before every clip on their site, especially something like this. You'd think banner ads would be enough. Nah.
