There are few people of "genius" in the world, especially now that David Bowie has died. Most acknowledge that the only pundit who knows what he's talking about is Stephen Hawking, the noted scientist and Cabbage patch doll with a few extra teeth.

Unfortunately in this splintered age of Media incompetence and hype, anything a celebrity said is likely to be misquoted or re-written.

How baffling, then, that one of the search engines offers links to four different news websites that each seem to have a different slant on Hawking's grim prediction for the future.
