You can use GoFUNDMe for just about anything idiotic, including fraud. Anybody can go on that site and claim to have a disease, or an infant that needs diapers, or need funding for an album covering Charlie Manson songs...but they refused Baltimore police trying to help their own.
Internet websites have EVERY loophole in their favor. It's their rules, their laws, and their call. They also don't have to pay attention to any copyright claim and can simply say "Sue us," if they feel like it.
So GoFUNDMe says the page asking for help in paying legal bills is in violation of their rules against:
'Campaigns in defense of formal charges or claims of heinous crimes, violent, hateful, sexual or discriminatory acts.'
Hmmm.
Do note the photo. A lot of those cops are BLACK. So are we talking about a "hate crime?"
That's what the protests have been about...from the ignorant blacks in Baltimore who KNOW that half the police force is black, to the ignorant blacks in New York and other cities who protest just for the fun of it.
A black district attorney in Baltimore decided she had "probable cause" to arrest the officers. That doesn't mean they will be found guilty. All it means is that these officers and their union are going to have to pay a fortune in legal fees, and these officers also need help with day-to-day expenses.
Contrary to the opinion of rioters and looters, all these cops did was shove a career criminal into the paddy wagon. He bounced around and died. Aw.
The protests bellowed "cops unfairly targeted an unarmed black," but the truth is half the arresting cops were black. They knew a thug asshole. Are the three black cops going to claim they had to sit back and watch the three white ones be racist? No, all six have been charged.
The truth is Dead Freddie could've easily been some piece of white grunge, and gotten the same treatment. Guess what, NOBODY would've cared if he died in police custody or not. And I'm sure several white pieces of shit have died in police custody under strange circumstances this week. There just aren't a lot of reporters and newspapers to look into it, and not enough lazy white looters to hunt up a reason to steal a TV set.
True? Of course it is. If this had been a homeless white redneck asshole, with a swastika on his neck, nobody would've protested. A black career criminal? Oooooooh, what a LOSS.
GoFundMe is allowing over $7,000 (and counting) for the "Baltimore Protesters Bail Bond Fund." Is GoFundMe in a position to tell the world that people arrested have rights, as long as they aren't cops?
GoFundMe, like Julian Assange and other Internet assholes, has the sole right to judge what is "heinous" or "discriminatory" or "violent?"
A bunch of protesters got arrested. Weren't they violent? Weren't they involved in criminal activity? Oh. They are black. They aren't cops. That's fine.
In fact, FREEEEEEEEEEEDOM of SPEEEEEEEEEEEEECH, GoFundMe is paying NO attention to how bogus this fund-raiser might be. It's nice that they at least allow some "bad comments" on this particular scam:
Here's something else America's GoFUNDMe asswipes need to remember. In America you are "innocent until proven guilty." So if these cops are out on bail, and need money to help defend themselves, why get in the middle and refuse them? These could be innocent people desperately needing the money to prove their case. GoFundMe has already tried and convicted them. Oh, the powerful INTERNET companies that make up their own rules and laws.
