Why has it taken Egypt such a long time to get into the fight against fanatic ISIS assholes?
Because it wasn't until yesterday that ISIS tipped the percentages by slaughtering over 20 Egyptian Christians.
That was worth a few bombing raids.
Just how long the bombing raids continue...well, maybe 10 degrees as a show of force will be enough for them. They're already calling for the U.S. and other nations to get together and start blasting. After all, they don't want any reprisals that would push them 10 degrees back into neutrality.
For a guy with a sissy last name, el-Sissi the head of Egypt did man-up the other day.
"Cowardly" IS the term for these Muslo-fucks who grab automatic weapons and shoot unarmed citizens in shops and office buildings, and round up unarmed peasants to murder.
But "cowardly" is also the term for all the Middle East nations that are standing by and not doing anything. The excuse in Iraq might be poor leadership and a lack of weapons, and Syria is fucked up too (which is why Isis has taken over parts of those countries) but why is it taking so long for the rest?
You might not like your neighbor, but if he or she is being assaulted, you do something. It's bad for the greater neighborhood if you don't. Shit, hasn't everyone around the world seen "The Maltese Falcon?" Sam Spade went after the guy who killed his partner, simply because it was "bad for business" to let him escape.
Jordan only started fighting when a Jordanian got killed. Egypt came in because some Egyptians got killed. And these countries have the nerve to bitch that every nation should unite and join the fight. Only after their little percentage pushed the arrow slightly.
Sorry, but maybe Egypt and Jordan can understand that if THEY didn't start fighting until a few of THEIRS got it, then that's why so many other nations are looking the other way.
As for the U.K. and U.S.A., here are two nations that have had enough of this shit of running in and doing the fighting, only to be accused of being the Cops of the World (another Phil Ochs phrase). What's it gotten us? Abuse, that's all. We get called infidels, we get threatened, we get easy targets like marathon races and office buildings destroyed. And we get immigrants flooding in so they an undermine us and turn against us. No, it's time for the United Nations to make this a universal war. And yes, that includes YOU, Pooty-poot, and that fat demented little girly-pudge in North Korea and the Red Chinese.
When there's terrorism, EVERYONE should join the fight. Christ, don't people get it by now? Didn't everybody see Henry Fonda as Tom Joad and get moved by that speech at the end??
Too bad only some English speaking nations really get the lyrics of Dylan or Ochs or even Springfart. Freedom. Fighting the good fight. Helping the oppressed. That's what starts the drums.
Meanwhile, nobody much cares if every nigger in Nigeria gets killed by Procol Harum. Why? Why does everybody skip over the articles that estimate that 2,000 villagers here, and 12,000 there, get killed, and innocent schoolgirls put into sexual slavery by slimy Muslim hypocrites who think God is Great for giving them virgins to rape? It's because there are too many jungle bunnies anyway? Well, Lennon wasn't right after all. Nigger is still the nigger of the world, not woman. Although a black woman in Africa is doubly fucked. Usually. By grinning Islam perverts.
Egypt is 10% Christian, so they put their 10 degrees into the fight, pissed off at the Egyptian Christians that were killed. If it had been Egyptian Muslims would more planes be in the air?
As we see with most anything, including piracy and bootlegging, this shit CAN be stopped just by following the money trail, and shutting off and arresting the pricks when they grab for the Paypal account and the bank account for what is NOT an all-cash business. The others can easily be rustled up and caught in the act. It's just a case of "is there anybody here" (another Ochs song title). Apathy, greed and stupidity still rule the day.
