The company grew by extortion (making people pay for search engine placement) and became a monster thanks to piracy (Blogspot being the prime launch for millions of illegal downloads, plus YOUTUBE).
Now? They take over entire city blocks with their office buildings. Their spy-maps are embraced by news agencies who pay so they can pinpoint a house where a felon or movie star lives. Their Google-glasses and takeover of businesses that sell computers and software have further strengthened their tentacles.
Does it come as a surprise that they lobby politicians, make sure laws against copyright theft or privacy NEVER get passed, and that their drones, thieves, perverts and evildoers slime their way into government jobs and positions of authority?
This company, born of the teachings of Hitler, raised on the ideology of Putin, is rarely fined except by a few courts in Europe somewhere. It's intimidated every news organization and politician. ANY criticism of their tactics that actually gets printed is gently wrapped in cotton candy (candy floss) and snuck in while bowing low and pointing out how wonderful GOOGLE is.
Face it, even when GOOGLE's corrupt CEO's and officers are caught whoring around, the reporters soften it up and end up praising these guys by mentioning the millions they make and how fantastic GOOGLE is. Some GOOGLE bastard enjoys whores and heroin...and the story's twisted to make it seem that the poor "family man" was somehow corrupted and injected against his will. That's the power of dirty, slimy, corrupt and conniving GOOGLE.
