Both demonstrated the ability to seem "benign, helpful and good" while slowly taking over everything. By the time people began to say "watch out," it was TOO LATE.
Eventually, reporters showed just what monsters Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels, Mengele, and the rest were. Yes, it turned out these were evil, immoral, selfish, sadistic people behind their "final solution" of exterminating Jews, Poles, Gays and the rest, and taking over the world while holding decadent orgies, abusing minors and enjoying their sadistic power mad games.
You have to wonder when, if ever, all the crawling slime will be revealed under the Great Google rock. You wonder when some insider will reveal exactly what goes on in those "compounds" where GOOGLE employees live, leer, and hatch all their schemes.
GOOGLE has done everything Nazi Germany has done...they spy with GOOGLE glasses. They grab off the money even Paypal is too moral to allow (and let bootleggers thrive with GOOGLE payments). Like a concentration camp, anyone filing a DMCA over rights violations is sent to CHILLING EFFECTS...a supposedly "fair" website that just happens to make life difficult for rights owners, and exposes who they are so that bootleggers can hack and target them. Google has pretended to be "only trying to help," in unleashing Google maps that can spy into peoples' windows and make it easy for burglars and terrorists to find targets. GOOGLE makes sure that if you want to use their prime areas for piracy (YouTube and Blogspot) you sign up with g-mail so they can further entrap you and know all about you.
On the other hand, there's Bill Gates and the late Steve Jobs. Did they do everything possible to gain power, and go cheat on their wives, and hit on employees? They were charitable men even by the cutthroat standards of the business world?
Jeff "Bozo" Bezos. He's a creep, but not in the same league as GOOGLE. All he wanted to do, and he's accomplished it, is to bring down the infrastructure of stores around the world. Hey everyone, instead of thousands and thousands of jobs, and shops to visit...just buy on line from Amazon! Amazon has no expensive rent, no bunch of stores in neighborhoods near you. If a store has 100 employees, Amazon needs only 3 to box up items and mail them out...no janitors to clean the store and no friendly people to give you advice (Amazon has scabs...their customers...very willing to "comment" on the products they buy). Hey hey, why buy books when you can get a KINDLE and then go to KICKASS and download every author's copyrighted material for free? WHEE!
As much of a monster as "Bozo" Bezos is, he personally doesn't seem to be nearly as perverted, underhanded or scummy as the GOOGLE goons. He's also not as concerned, as GOOGLE is, and as Hitler was, with pretending to be nice. You know, GOOGLE and their fucking little daily cartoons, and their cutie-poo name, and their oh-so-charitable endeavors like hooking up free wi-fi in poor areas...so they can spy on poor people and get the goods on them, too.
Would it surprise you if one day it turned out the FBI and Interpol were using GOOGLE to add information for their files on millions of people? No, it wouldn't surprise you.
The difference with Nazi Germany is that when they got huge, there was still opposition. Germany, Japan and Italy fought...but lost...to America, Great Britain and Russia. But GOOGLE? They have no competition. They intimidate politicians. They ran right over Yahoo and the rest. They bought YouTube and their talons are now gripping into the computer business...so you can buy GOOGLE computers and tablets instead of Apple or Samsung. GOOGLE Chrome, everybody...let's make sure you don't use Explorer or Firefox, the better for your trail of activity to be monitored by Big Brother Google. Their name is accurate; they OGLE and EYE anything successful with the aim of acquiring it or bending it to their purposes. They might let a company such as eBay/Paypal alone...as long as eBay pays a huge amount for ad space on Google.
And let's not, in discussing GOOGLE's morality, forget how they began their climb to Hitler-like supremacy. It was via extortion and bribery. How odd, that in doing a GOOGLE search for YOU or your company, some porn sites, some idiot garbage, some totally bogus junk, somehow pushed you out of the Top 10. How odd, that the only way to make sure that a GOOGLE search for YOU or your company...required paying a "placement" fee to GOOGLE so that, magically, YOU or your company became 1st in the searching. That's a pay-off. There's no other term for it. GOOGLE was saying, "Somehow, you aren't #1 and we can fix that...with MONEY. PAY US MONEY."
Have I unfairly compared GOOGLE to Hitler? Well, yes...in that case, they're more like the Mafia.
