There's no getting away from Big Brother GOOGLE is there?

You buy something on line, and like a Scientologist confronting you as you come out of a store, or a Christian Scientist pounding on your door the minute you get home, they are RIGHT THERE to pester you.

It seems that the busy Googlers are not only prowling every street to photograph for their Google Maps, they are crawling through the cracks of every Internet business, and finding some way to, if not take the company overtly, become a partner.

I wonder if even Kim Dotcom's latest Mega website is also a "trusted store," accepting Google payments and getting some kind of search engine placement deal in return.

[Why is it that Google can get away with "fixing" search engine placement? It's extortion isn't it? What prevents them from deliberately shunting a company off the first page of a search unless they pay up?]

Right, Google, aside from following every move people make, and prompting for MORE information or to "consolidate" blog and YouTube and Google payments and anything else...they harmlessly want to offer "Google Protection," too.

The "protection racket." Yeah, I've heard of it. The mob used to do a lot of it.
