Bravo Nikki Haley, the Governor of South Carolina who got the confederate flag taken down from state property. She said "Today is better than yesterday," and in a small way, she was right.
While Nikki has some kind of Hindu father or whatever, basically what you see is the irony of two white women leading the charge to get a stupid, backward symbol of a failed race war removed from state property.
If anything good comes of 8 middle-aged, gentle black people being slaughtered by an asshole redneck brat with a gun, it's that thousands upon thousands of Southerners have come to their senses about that yee-hah symbol, the confederate flag, and how it's misused.
No, nobody's talking about gun control, and Dylann the Dipshit was waving his guns in his selfies, along with his confederate flag. But at least there's something positive going on, and somebody could actually say, and mean it, "Today is better than yesterday."
South Carolina now has something new to be proud of. I think the last thing was The Swamp Fox helping to win the Revolutionary War against the Tory morons. It sure as fuck isn't that "Lazy Rebel" lives there.
