Imagine...using eBay for Charity

And the race is on. Come on, folks, BID!

Shall I be a little jaded about this? Cynical perhaps?

If I was one of the haters, I'd say, "Jeez, Yolk, you are worth a fortune. Why not just give a tax-free donation to your Amnesty pals and be done with it?"

I'd say, "Why autograph dubious collectors items that have to do with Lennon? You didn't write the song or appear on it, did you?"

I'd say, "Isn't this just another publicity deal, and another of your usual ploys to let everyone know that you're around and still control everything Lennon?"

BUT...

On the other hand, maybe I should say, "Gee, that's awful nice. Not everybody can get to one of your signings, and who wouldn't want your autograph?"

And: "What a nice thing, putting your autograph on a record the average moron might actually listen to, when they don't like even your most accessible songs?"

And: "You aren't making any money off this, and you're keeping John's name alive. How lovely."

So take your pick, pro or con.

Are you actually going to bid? Probably not. And if so, not a lot! Looks like all three of these collector items will be 100 pounders, or more.
