The fucking LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD has to take time to explain, "I didn't know him well" (what a shocking thing for the PRESIDENT to say about an androgyne pop-funk star). Then he had to admit that Prince was a "genius" and that, Jesus Fucking Christ, before the day's events, he got hold of a turntable (?) and played TWO of Prince's albums, so he could "warm up" for his scheduled speeches.
Even the reporters had to laugh at how ludicrous that sounded. Meanwhile, Cameron was telling the press that before he could face the daunting struggle of discussing poverty, poor health care, out of control immigration and violence throughout the country, he had to lift his spirits with Victoria Wood clips from YouTube. "It breaks me up when she talks about going through the change," he grinned. "She was a genius. And don't get me started on how she describes being a plus size girl but trying to wriggle into a dress a size smaller! I was gutted with laughter!"
