And if you do go outside, just go to Walmart or Best Buy to handle the merchandise and ask some questions and then hurry home to buy a dollar or two cheaper from AMAZON.
Oh well. 10,000 U.S. workers losing their jobs. Another 6,000 in Brazil of all places. Oh...and nearly 300 stores shuttered also means less work for truckers, less inventory shipped from manufacturers, and little things like less soap bought to keep the stores clean and less fuel to keep the stores running. Oh well oh well oh well.
Hooray for the honeycomb hive of Amazon, and their Machiavellian schemes of taking over big stores in some locations and turning them into...big stores. Barnes & Noble and Walmart close down and re-open as Amazon stores? Sounds LOVELY.
Walmart wants to "speed up" lines at their existing stores by having people use APPS of some kind? We're talking about rednecks and monkeys. Nobody else goes to Walmart. They don't have phones in their pockets, just knives.
IF I'M BEING HONEST, I try to avoid Amazon as much as possible. I buy from eBay shoplifters who go into Walmart and grab printer ink and anything else they can get their hands on, and dump it as "buy it now" auctions below Amazon and anyone else. I've never even BEEN in a fucking Walmart.
Walmart, Target and others are slowly hoping to attract website business. Target actually PAYS eBay to run ads for them. Type in some ordinary item, and you'll get an instant Target ad popping up at you. Target even has an eBay account and offers such glamorous items as discount toilet paper.
Yes, life in the 21st Century just keeps getting better. Who says that? Jeff Bezos.
