More of the Google YouTube Conspiracy and other Net pains in the butt

While Kardashian's fat whore ass remains the biggest butt on the Internet, and almost unavoidable, there's still the constant PAIN IN THE BUTT of...SHIT NOT WORKING.

It's the 21st Century, we've got this grand Internet, and it seems every fucking day you have to download a new Adobe this or that, and get prompts for God knows what "spoof" or "pfishing" game that somebody wants you to download.

Shit that's supposed to work easily and simply never does. "Improvements" involve wondering if your browser is out of date, if YOU are out of date, or if you're heading toward "buy a new computer."

I was in a store where the DVDs are a bargain at $3 each, and some obese slob shrugged and said, "I can see full length movies on..." Netflix? "...YOUTUBE."

Right, slob. Spend the $3 on Doritos and M&Ms and Pepsi, and be happy that GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND. Google's wonderful YouTube does indeed seem to have way too many full length movie thefts (to go with all the bootlegs of live concerts, and the music stealing).

Somebody sent me some fucking YouTube link, but guess what. Yeah, you can guess:

Since nobody wants to tell you anything, except show-off oafs in forums, I had to scout around to learn what I suspected: that GOOGLE and YOUTUBE really want you to use their CHROME and nothing else. Yes, the better to track everything you do. They are deliberately fucking around with formats that work with CHROME and that if other browsers want to use, they must pay licensing fees for.

Right, GOOGLE wants Opera or Firefox or whoever to pay for the codec or decoder ring or whatever the fuck is involved, but GOOGLE doesn't seem to give a damn about doing the minimum, and making sure that other peoples' intellectual property isn't being raped and abused.

No thanks, I'm NOT going to have Chrome and add to GOOGLE's secret FBI-like stash of information on me. Are we going to read someday that GOOGLE has been extorting people, or intimidating political candidates, by threatening to reveal intimate details or allow hackers to get hold of sensitive data? No. But only because GOOGLE would also have the power to control what's on Internet news sites and "block" anything unfavorable. That's how it is with a Big Brother mentality.

You'll see...one day Big Brother Google will simply be calling all the shots. Or, you WON'T see. They'll just be doing it and you'll wonder what's going on, but won't find an answer anywhere. You'll just have to stop asking questions and be a good little drone.
