"Thank you, Mosque Man!" Dalil Boubakeur

Lenny Bruce had a routine about the Lone Ranger. The catch-phrase was that The Lone Ranger decided to stop doing nice things unless he got some appreciation. "I must have a THANK YOU, MASKED MAN," he said.

Maybe moderate Muslims aren't being appreciated when they meekly mutter that not ALL of them are terrorists? Well, "THANK YOU MOSQUE MAN," then, to Dalil Boubakeur. He not only is saying that Muslims should not go around killing people...but that it's a GOOD idea to bomb the shit out of Syria. He says it'll help stop these terrorists from taking over more countries.

So, THANK YOU, MOSQUE MAN.

A lot of people, usually non-Muslim, quake and whisper, "Let's not bother these terrorists anymore. Let's NOT fight back. Maybe then they'll leave us alone."

No less a genius than Bill Maher has insisted that WE provoked ISIS and created it, by invading Iraq and being SUCH bullies. Bill says if we only pin-pointed where Bin Laden was (this took 6 years, Bill) and left jerks like Saddam Hussein alone, all would be well.

Bill, Saddam was goading the world with "maybe I have weapons of mass destruction...dare ya to come in and find them." He was also murdering and raping the peasants, along with his rotten sons. He was thumbing his ugly nose at the U.N. He had to GO.

Go, Dalil Boubakeur:

"America doesn't want to, can't send men after Iraq, after Afghanistan — no longer wants to send men to Syria. And yet it is necessary, only soldiers taking back territory is the way to push them back.

"It is necessary, it is necessary. It is absolutely necessary. Because all they will do is advance in the countries where they set up and terrorize people, force them to flee elsewhere. So those countries are empty for them to occupy and make their people stronger and stronger, more and more aggressive, and more and more armed."

The article continues:

"Little by little," he admitted, ISIS has been able to radicalize the thinking of young Muslims in Europe.

It is a "great error," he said, "not only of Muslims but of the world [as a whole] to accept this." Many French Muslims, he said, "forget that they are French people. And they forget that as French people they must also [behave like] French people like the others, you know? It is very important [for] French Muslim people to express their French nationality, their French taste, their French values, their French [rejection] of what is the danger for them, France, and for our religion also."

Mr. Mosque agreed that there have not been enough protests from actual Muslims. Muslims are NOT marching in solidarity with their neighbors. Why aren't all those fine, fine Muslims who don't believe in violence, or goats and virgins rewarding murderers, standing up?

"It is the true question. But each time I talk here in the Grand Mosque of Paris they say to me, 'Sir you do not represent the Muslims, the young who think differently.' And I say yes, because I don't think like them. The people who think like me are discreet, people don't listen to us."

He did mutter that the media spends more time quoting ISIS assholes than moderates such as himself, but it's hard to ignore people who make videos of beheadings and who go around shooting down innocent people who had come to a crappy club to see mediocre saps in a bad rock band.

He added: "Our religion is not one of violence, of jihadism, of terrorism, of women who kill. In what page of Quran is that written that a woman must take bombs inside her body to explode and kill other people? In what part of Quran is that said? In what page of Quran is it said that we shall kill innocent people?"
