Three million Frenchies didn't march against censorship. Kevin Spacey said "FUCK" at the Golden Globes but NOBODY heard it. Where are our priorities??
Oh, look, a quick check of the MEDIA, and most everyone (except the Times of India) went nuts:
"Now I try hard not to become hysterical, but I'm not sure if I'm laughing or crying..."
You know the metrosexual genius Kevin Spacey. He's the King of America. He played in "American Beauty," a sick movie directed by a homosexual that keyed on a)no idea about what makes a girl sexy, and b) the undercurrent that everybody is a repressed gay.
He does an impression of Johnny Carson, based on Rich Little's impression, and nobody remembers Carson except for the fawning Jimmy Fallon and the nostalgic Jimmy Kimmel and David Letterman, who insist "do Johnny" whenever he promotes some fucking film or other.
FUCKING film. Kevin was so FUCKING surprised and grateful that after 7 misses, he got the coveted...GOLDEN GLOBE award.
Except he already has an Academy Award, so who the fuck cares about THIS piece of clanging garbage? WHEN did the fucking GOLDEN GLOBES become important? When "edgy" comics began hosting it, smirking at their own wit? You can have a three way between Ricky Gervais, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, and I wouldn't even watch.
OK, that's a lie, but you get the idea.
Now back to our premise. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE THREE MILLION FRENCHIES?
Surely, if they suddenly were in love with Charlie Hebdo (a weekly with only 60,000 readers) they should've also been outraged that censorship still exists. Shouldn't they?
In a world of Islamic terrorists, and Viley Virus, and Justa Beeper strutting in his underwear, and Kim Kardashian splayed naked and everyone cheering, and easy access to porn for any 12 year-old who can say "Goo Goo GOOGLE," what the FUCK is NBC censoring "Fucking" for?
Shouldn't we all be outraged?
Or is it a healthy sign that nobody cares that much what a metrosexual says on an awards show?
