STAR VANITY: Fake Twitter, Farcebook and Instagram Fans

YOU'RE SO VAIN...

It seems that some stars pay people, fans, or companies, to pump up the numbers on their Twitter accounts, etc.

We all know that some celebrities (Piers Morgan constantly) brag about how many followers they have. But how many did they pay for?

Watta surprise. NOT.

We all know that the big Internet companies THRIVE on lies and cheating. The only surprise is why any of 'em would actually start deleting accounts or being responsible in any way.

Maybe Instagram is trying to sell out? Or their "purge" was just part of an overall removal of annoying spammy accounts?

Over at FARCEBOOK, which supposedly keeps a limit of 5,000 FRIENDS on personal accounts, every other day you can get a spammy message from some asshole who FRIENDED a D-list star just to sell SUNGLASSES and UGGS. Ugh!

But stars actually paying a publicist or a company to pad their accounts?
