Never underestimate the conceit and stupidity of people. If they can spend half the day yammering on cell phones, or just sitting for hours in front of a laptop muttering to themselves...then oooooooooh, PODCAST! PODCAST!
Blogtalkradio is just one of dozens of companies out there.
You too can say, "I have my own radio show," and impress your family.
As if it isn't bad enough that you're a boring twit on YouTube with your dimly lit basement and dim-witted editorials.
WHO is listening to this shit? WHO has the time?
There are a few well-known podcasters out there, but they are well connected and do other things. Marc Maron has been kicking around in the stand-up world for years. And even so, I've NEVER listened to his fucking show.
I barely listen to the news anymore, or the jerks who have their own talk shows. I'm going to listen to nitwit friends I don't even want to call up on the phone?
The tragedy is they'll ask: "Be on my podcast." It used to be "be on my PUBLIC ACCCESS TV show."
PEOPLE TALKING WITHOUT LISTENING.
PEOPLE LISTENING WITHOUT HEARING.
PEOPLE DOING PODS WHEN NO ONE REALLY CARES...
